Security as a commitment.
Cuedora is designed as a local app, and we intend to keep the surface small. Here is how we think about security — plainly, and without overstating what we cannot prove yet.
Design
Simple by design
We prefer simple, local design and keep the attack surface as small as we can. Fewer moving parts means fewer things to go wrong.
Disclosure
Honest about limits
Where the software makes trade-offs, we say so plainly — on the licensing page, in the FAQ, and in the release notes. No marketing overreach.
Response
Reports matter
If you find something, tell us. We acknowledge reports, fix what we can, and are straight with you about the rest.
What to expect when you report
- Email [email protected] and describe what you found. A person at the studio reads it.
- We will acknowledge the report as soon as practical and keep you informed when there is a meaningful update.
- We will investigate, prioritize the risk, and share what we can when a fix or mitigation is ready.
- Good-faith security reports are welcome. We treat them as help, not as an attack.
