Auden for iPhone
Your music already lives on your own server. Auden plays it on your iPhone over your network, with no streaming service or third-party music account in the middle. Built for Synology first. Coming soon on the App Store as a free download with one optional in-app purchase.
Auden is Chhaya Digital’s product.

The whole library, in your pocket.
Native captures of Auden’s Demo Library, with public-domain recordings.
Browse by album.
Move through albums, artists, songs, and folders in your Synology music library. Search filters the collection on your iPhone.
Your library is read from your server and cached on the device so you can browse it when the server is not reachable.
Choose what plays next.
Add tracks to the queue, reorder what is coming up, and use shuffle or repeat for a different run through your music.
A sleep timer and lock-screen controls keep playback within reach while you listen.
What is in it
What the app does today, stated plainly. Anything still being built is named as such.

- Playback
- A queue you can reorder, shuffle and repeat, a sleep timer, and lock-screen controls.
- Offline
- Download individual tracks, albums, or playlists to the device and play them with no server in reach.
- Playlists
- Build and edit playlists on the phone, import and export them, and define smart playlists from rules.
- Search
- Filter the collection by song, album, or artist without sending the query anywhere.
- BPM
- Auden Pro reads BPM tags and can analyze songs on your iPhone when a track has no saved BPM.

What Auden will cost
Auden will be a free download on the App Store. Playing your own library is the free app: browsing, search, streaming, the queue, playlists, and up to 25 offline downloads, with no account and no advertising.
Auden Pro is one optional in-app purchase, bought once. It is not a subscription and it does not renew. It lifts the download limit, adds playlist download sync, and lets you save more than one server. Every install starts with seven days of Pro switched on, so you can decide after using it rather than before. Coming soon on the App Store; the final terms will be published before anyone is asked to pay.
Questions about the product go to the studio, where the person building it reads them. Setup questions belong on the support page.
Free to download. One optional purchase. No subscription.
